RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, after attending the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple, on Monday, expressed his joy and stated that after 500 years Ram Lalla has returned to his birthplace.

Ayodhya: After attending the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday expressed his joy, by stating that Ram Lalla has returned to his birthplace after 500 years. Bhagwat attended the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “Today after 500 years, Ram Lalla has returned here and due to his efforts we are seeing this golden day today, we pay our utmost respect to him. The history of this era has so much power that whoever listens to the stories of Ram Lalla, all their sorrows and pains will be erased,” ANI quoted Bhagwat as saying.

The RSS chief acknowledged PM Modi’s commitment but also underlined the collective responsibility of citizens. “PM Modi kept a strict fast before arriving here for Pran Pratishtha. I know him for long, he is a tapasvi. But he alone can’t do it. Now we too must do our bit,” he said.

“Today in Ayodhya, along with Ram Lalla, India’s pride has also returned. Today’s event has become a symbol that a ‘naya Bharat’, which will provide relief to the world from tragedies, will definitely come up,” PTI quoted Bhagwat as saying.

Pran Pratishtha

After the 500-year-long ‘exile’ of Lord Ram, in his five-year-old form, he was consecrated in the Ram Temple on Monday. .PM Modi along with Mohan Bhagwat, and UP CM Adityanath attended the Pran Pratishtha rituals and also witnessed the moment when the face of Ram Lalla was unveiled for the first time after the rituals.
PM Modi offered prayers to Ram Lalla and performed ‘aarti’ on the occasion. He was also seen performing ‘Dandavat Pranam’ at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple.
The historic rituals started today at around 12 pm today after PM Modi arrived in Ayodhya.
