Pran Pratishtha Special: Expectant mothers delayed their delivery date and want their babies’ arrival with Ram Lalla.

Ayodhya: Ram Lalla has returned after 500 years to his birthplace with the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony held at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the holy rituals during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Lakhs of devotees attended the event, and the excitement seems never-ending. The day is so pious that devotees are ready to do anything to make it a part of their lives. Some expectant mothers have expressed an unusual desire that has even surprised the doctors. These mothers are fervently requesting doctors to schedule their deliveries for January 22, coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. According to Kanak News, an expectant mother from Cuttack delayed her delivery date to match the Pran Pratishtha day. They want their babies to be born on the same holy day, as they consider it auspicious for their newborns.

These mothers want their babies to have qualities like Lord Ram. Even the names of the newborns are already pre-decided. According to the would-be parents, if blessed with a boy, his name would be ‘Ram’ or ‘Raghuvar,’ and if a girl is born, her name would be ‘Sita’.

According to Dr Seema Dwivedi, several families have insisted that their children be born on this significant day.
“In the labour room, we have received requests from more than 14 to 15 families for deliveries, specifically on January 22. While it is impossible to guarantee normal deliveries, we have explained to those requiring surgery that the dates can be adjusted within a reasonable timeframe,” she said as quoted by argusenglish.com.

“We want the birth of our child to align with the arrival of Ram Lalla in our homes. After waiting for the Ram temple for 100 years, it will be a fortunate moment when our child enters the world,” said a family member of a woman.

Pran Pratishtha

After the 500-year-long ‘exile’ of Lord Ram, in his five-year-old form, was consecrated in the Ram Temple on Monday. .PM Modi along with Mohan Bhagwat, UP CM Adityanath attended the Pran Pratishtha rituals and also witnessed the moment when the face of Ram Lalla was unveiled for the first time after the rituals.
PM Modi offered prayers to Ram Lalla and also performed ‘aarti’ on the occasion. He was also seen performing ‘Dandavat Pranam’ at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple.
The historic rituals started today at around 12 pm today after PM Modi arrived in Ayodhya.
