Montreal: Brutal stabbing incidents occurred in the Montreal suburb of Vaudreuil-Dorion in which two women were killed and another was critically injured at a residential building on Thursday, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp reported. Local police have arrested a 44-year-old man in this connection, who was also injured. However, the motive for the attacks was not immediately known, as reported by CBC.

As many as five ambulances were rushed to the scene after getting the information. The crime scene is about 45 kilometres (28 miles) west of Montreal.
The police did not immediately respond to requests for information.
