New Delhi: The much-awaited Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha concluded yesterday, on January 22, 2024 and the gates of the majestic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh have opened for the world now. Organised on a larger-than-life scale, the Consecration Ceremony rituals were performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dignitaries from Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani to Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were present for the event. Pakistan First Reaction To Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha
As mentioned earlier, Pakistan has reacted to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha held in Ayodhya, UP on January 22, 2024 in the presence of PM Modi. The Pakistan Foreign Office, in a statement directed to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony, has said that India has marginalised Indian Muslims with this event and that the event indicates the growing majoritarianism in India.
Statement Of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry On Consecration Of Ram Lalla
The Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said, “Deplorably, India’s superior judiciary not only acquitted the criminals responsible for this despicable act but also allowed the construction of a temple on the site of the demolished mosque.” The statement further read, “Developments of the last 31 years, leading to today’s consecration ceremony, are indicative of growing majoritarianism in India. These constitute an important facet of the ongoing efforts for social, economic and political marginalization of the Indian Muslims.”
‘Rising Tide Of Hindutva Ideology Poses Serious Threat To Religious Harmony, Regional Peace’
In its statement, the foreign ministry of Pakistan also said that the rise of ‘Hindutva’ Ideology is a serious threat to the religious harmony and regional peace of the country. “The rising tide of ‘Hindutva’ ideology in India poses a serious threat to religious harmony and regional peace. The Chief Ministers of two major Indian states, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, are on record as citing the Babri Mosque’s demolition or inauguration of the ‘Ram Temple’ as the first step towards reclaiming parts of Pakistan”, read the statement.
‘International Community Should Take Cognizance Of Growing Islamophobia In India’
Pakistan has further said that there is a growth in Islamophobia and hate speech and crimes in India and that the international community including United Nations should intervene. The statement further read, “The international community should take cognizance of the growing Islamophobia, hate speech and hate crimes in India. The United Nations and other relevant international organizations should play their part in saving the Islamic heritage sites in India from extremist groups and ensuring the protection of the religious and cultural rights of the minorities in India, it ended.”
The Pran Pratishtha was a glorious event attended by the biggest dignitaries of India. With chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, melodious bhajans and a shower of rose petals, the Consecration of Ram Lalla was performed and the beautiful idol was revealed to the world.
